The importance of organic beef

As we already mentioned, there is a serious regulation of keeping the variety organic.

These animals must not be fed any food or feed nor may they consume plants that may have been in contact with fertilizers or pesticides at an early age. It is also forbidden to treat animals with antibiotics or growth hormones.

In the event of a possible illness, they can only be treated within a framework of strict regulations.

In addition to all these husbandry methods, a natural meat base is created that is free of all additives, chemicals, yield enhancers and hormone preparations, soy feed and other residues.

For people who take a healthy diet seriously, the availability of such meat creates new opportunities in home gastronomy.

Of course the price of organic farming must also be paid by the consumer. Farms operating under such housing conditions have to meet a number of challenges and requirements. Producers can only produce organic certified meat raw material if the market ensures its sustainability in terms of profitability.

We are not saying that only organic is good!

Not all animals are kept according to organic farming guidelines yet their meat still tastes great. In many cases, environmentally friendly animal husbandry such as when cattle spend a lot of time on pasture and graze their own fodder instead of fattening with concentrated feed, is sufficient to achieve a later optimal meat taste.

The animals themselves can enjoy better housing conditions, so we belive that animal welfare and meat consumption should not be mutually exclusive.

Therefore we only market meat from animals that have been properly, sustainably and produced to the highest quality standards. This ensures that the exceptionally soft meat and unmistakable aroma previously only available in gourmet restaurants is now available in your home too!
